Greetings and welcome, Jehangir Sarosh President WCRP/Europe We are delighted you are interested in the work of (World Conference of) Religions for Peace Europe and we do hope you will join one of our National or Local (city) Chapters and support this important movement. As a movement Religions for Peace (RfP) aims to motivate and mobilise the moderates within all communities, to work for the common good. All of us seek happiness and security for our communities, our families and ourselves. Yet we are also fully aware that we cannot seek these for just ourselves, therefore there has to be justice for all, and we believe justice and happiness for all cannot be brought about by each community fighting for its own corner. Only by working together for each other can we find that elusive peace we all seek. Religions for Peace Europe is one of the five regional bodies of the worldwide organisation with its International office is in New York. RfP Europe’s region covers the whole of Europe from Urals to the Atlantic and from the Artic to the Mediterranean. RfP Europe has National Chapters in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, and United Kingdom and has affiliated associations in Albania, Kosovo, Rumania, Spain, and Sweden. RfP Europe arranges meetings, conferences, seminars, and workshops in countries to facilitate cross-border co-operation; especially in countries we do not have chapters or affiliated organisation and facilitates: a multi-faith voice on issues of common concern, co-operation across national racial and faith boundaries that enables understanding and trust the basic ingredients for a peaceful co-existence.
